Google News - Yet another report announcer 43201

In Google's recent challenge towards becoming a worldwide information middle, I've come to notice that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish daily. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles an article directory of some types?

I only mention this because when posting my website marketing articles, I often wonder if they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In reality, they often arrive within 4-8 hours of being indexed from other top related websites.

So how exactly does Google News select it is content?

At the moment, it would appear that 'information stores' & 'pr release companies' linked to your area online are making the most of these search results. Once you think about it, would not a press release be a type of news anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the sites who deliver the material within Google news, you'll observe that only a select few are giving most of the results. Again, it is possible that Google's media formula is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to conquer.

It could be in Google's best interest to put together a group of experts in different areas to accept articles/news articles to be able to keep the news source within the Google empire.

There's Only A Portion of Results Showing:

While searching through the GN section, you'll also notice a relatively small percentage of actual search results arising. Only a portion of the proportion of results get outlined within the GN search results in comparison with exactly the same results within the regular search results available on Google's main site.

Only the sections on the left deliver actual real-time media. These are: Top Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide real-time results sent from reliable information sources online.

I hope not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and attended to love (A search club with some good benefits). Because Google's IPO, the develop-ment group at GG are starting to launch applications on line that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
