Google News - Yet another report announcer 37631
In Google's current challenge towards becoming a global news heart, I have come to notice that the results sent from Google News may seem like nothing more than the articles we publish each and every day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles a write-up directory of some kinds?

I only mention this because when publishing my website marketing articles, I often wonder should they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! Actually, they usually arrive within 48 hours to be listed from other top related web sites.
How does Google News choose it is content?
Right now, it seems that 'media centers' & 'press release companies' linked to your industry on the web are profiting from these search results. If you consider it, wouldn't a press release be described as a kind of information anyways? Possibly...
If you take a good look at the websites who provide the content within Google information, you'll realize that only a select few are offering all of the results. Again, it is possible that Google's news formula is still in its infant stages and probably has a lot of uphill battles to overcome.
It could be in Google's best interest to gather a staff of professionals in various areas to just accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the news source within the Google empire.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anyone?
When you contemplate it, you are offering your email address to Google to get related articles to the search term delivered to your mailbox, how does this change from every other regular newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the information signals? May they consider giving large corporations the opportunity to market within their email alerts as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.
More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and attended to love (A search bar with some great effects). Because Google's IPO, the develop-ment group at GG are starting to launch applications on line that are starting to resemble what we now know because the good Yahoo Portal.
Will there be any difference? Probably not.
