In Google's recent fight towards becoming an international news middle, I've come to observe that the results delivered from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish every day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles an article service of some kinds?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when posting my internet marketing articles, I often wonder when they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! In fact, they generally appear within 4-8 hours of being found from other top related web sites.

How does Google News pick it is content?

At this time, it appears that 'media centers' & 'pr release companies' associated with your field on line are making the most of these research results. If you contemplate it, would not a press release be described as a kind of media anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the websites who deliver the material within Google news, you will observe that only a select few are giving all the results. Again, it is possible that Google's information algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to beat.

It might be in Google's best interest to gather a staff of professionals in various areas to just accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

There's Just A Portion of Effects Showing:

While searching through the GN section, you will also notice a comparatively small part of actual search results developing. Just a fraction of a proportion of results get outlined within the GN search results when compared with exactly the same results within the regular search results found on Google's main site.

Only the sections on the left deliver actual real-time media. These are: Prime Experiences|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Activity|Health. These links provide results shipped from reliable news sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you contemplate it, you're giving your email address to Google to get related articles to the key phrase brought to your in-box, how can this differ from any regular newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within-the news alerts? May they consider giving large corporations the chance to promote inside their mail signals as an one time mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research club with some great effects). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch programs online that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Not likely.
