Google News - Yet another report announcer 28232

In Google's new fight towards becoming an international media center, I have come to notice that the outcome provided from Google News appears like nothing more than the articles we publish every day. So I ask, doesn't it appear to be Google News resembles a write-up service of some kinds?

I only mention this because when submitting my website marketing articles, I often wonder if they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In fact, they generally show up within 48 hours of being listed from other top related web sites.

How can Google News choose it's content?

Right now, it appears that 'news facilities' & 'press release organizations' related to your area o-nline are profiting from these research results. When you consider it, wouldn't a press release be described as a kind of news anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google media, you'll realize that only a select few are providing all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's media algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of uphill battles to overcome.

It could be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of professionals in different areas to simply accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

You'll also observe a relatively small percentage of actual search results coming up, while searching through the GN part. Only a fraction of a percentage of results get listed within the GN search results in comparison with the same results within the regular search results available on Google's main page.

Only the sections to the left offer actual real-time news. These are: Top Reports|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide results sent from reliable news sources on line.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?

When you consider it, you're giving your current email address to Google to get relevant articles to the key phrase brought to your inbox, how can this differ from every other normal publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the media signals? May they consider giving large organizations the opportunity to market within their e-mail alerts as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some great effects). Because Google's IPO, the develop-ment group at GG are starting to launch applications on the web that are starting to resemble what we now know because the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
