In Google's current fight towards becoming a global news heart, I have come to notice that the outcomes delivered from Google News seems like nothing more than the articles we publish daily. So I ask, doesn't it seem like Google News resembles a write-up directory of some sorts?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when posting my online marketing posts, I often wonder when they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they do! In fact, they usually appear within 48 hours of being listed from other top related websites. Browse here at the link http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572 to learn where to acknowledge it.

How can Google News pick it's content?

At the moment, it would appear that 'news stores' & 'pr release companies' related to your area on line are cashing in on these search results. Once you think about it, wouldn't a press release be a form of media anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the sites who deliver the information within Google information, you'll notice that only a select few are providing most of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's media formula remains in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of constant battles to beat.

It could be in Google's best interest to put together a group of experts in different fields to just accept articles/news articles in order to keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

There is Just A Fraction of Effects Showing:

While searching through the GN section, you will also notice a relatively small part of actual search results coming up. Only a fraction of a proportion of results get outlined within the GN search results in comparison with the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left deliver true real-time news. These are: Top Stories|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects provided from reliable news sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you contemplate it, you are giving Google your current email address to get relevant articles to the search term delivered to your in-box, so how exactly does this vary from any normal newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the media alerts? Will they consider giving large the ability to organizations to promote of their email alerts as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research club with some great effects). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications online that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.

One Good Level About Google News:

They have given you the ability to customize your site to exhibit whatever news subjects you need. Simply look at the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. When you select this link a drop down box shows you most of the major issues you've outlined inside your page. Just click on the subject you wish to customize or eliminate. The very best part of it all is that you can click on 'Put in a custom section' and only seek out the topic you need shown on your site.

Overall you can create an entire custom news page (author articles) that connect with your market..
