In Google's current fight towards becoming a worldwide news heart, I've come to realize that the outcomes delivered from Google News seems like only the articles we publish every-day. We discovered http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572 by searching books in the library. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles an article service of some sorts?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when posting my website marketing posts, I often wonder when they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! In-fact, they generally show up within 4-8 hours of being listed from other top related web sites.

So how exactly does Google News choose it is content?

At this time, it would appear that 'media centers' & 'pr release organizations' linked to your field o-nline are profiting from these search results. Whenever you contemplate it, would not a press release be described as a form of media anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google news, you'll observe that only a select few are providing every one of the results. Again, it is possible that Google's media algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of uphill battles to overcome.

It could be in Google's best interest to put together a staff of professionals in different areas to just accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the news source within the Google empire.

There's Merely A Portion of Results Showing:

While searching through the GN part, you will also recognize a relatively small part of actual search engine results arising. Only a portion of the percentage of results get shown within the GN search results when compared with exactly the same results within the normal search results available on Google's main site.

Only the parts to the left provide true real-time media. These are: Top Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Sports|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects provided from credible information sources on line.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you think about it, you're giving Google your email to get related articles to the key phrase sent to your mailbox, how can this vary from any standard newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the information alerts? Will they consider giving large the chance to firms to promote inside their e-mail signals as an one-time mailing! I hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research bar with some good benefits). Because Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications on the web that are starting to resemble what we now know while the good Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Not likely.
