Google News - Yet another post announcer 26935
In Google's current challenge towards becoming a global news middle, I've come to observe that the outcome delivered from Google News seems like only the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, doesn't it seem like Google News resembles a write-up service of some sorts?

I only mention this because when submitting my internet marketing articles, I often wonder if they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In fact, they generally appear within 48 hours of being indexed from other top related websites.
How can Google News choose it is content?
Right now, it appears that 'information centers' & 'pr release companies' linked to your industry online are cashing in on these research results. Once you think about it, would not a press release be a type of news anyways? Possibly...
You will notice that only a select few are giving all of the results, if you have a good look at the sites who deliver the content within Google information. Again, it's possible that Google's news protocol remains in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to beat.
It might be in Google's best interest to put together a staff of professionals in different fields to accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?
When you consider it, you're giving Google your email to get relevant articles to the key phrase delivered to your inbox, so how exactly does this vary from any other regular publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the media alerts? May they consider giving large companies the ability to promote of their email alerts as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.
More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some great benefits). Because Google's IPO, the devel-opment group at GG are starting to launch applications o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal.
