In Google's new challenge towards becoming an international information heart, I've come to notice that the results delivered from Google News may seem like simply the articles we publish each and every day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles service of some forms?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my internet marketing articles, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! In-fact, they usually show up within 4-8 hours to be found from other top related websites.

So how exactly does Google News select it's content?

At this time, it appears that 'media centers' & 'pr release organizations' linked to your field online are cashing in on these research results. Once you think about it, would not a press release be considered a form of news anyways? Possibly...

You'll realize that only a select few are providing most of the results, if you have a good look at the websites who produce the content within Google media. Google News Alerts - E-zine everyone?

When you think about it, you're offering Google your email to get relevant articles to the search term sent to your email, so how exactly does this vary from every other standard newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the media alerts? May they con-sider giving large the opportunity to firms to advertise of their email alerts as an onetime mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch programs online that are starting to resemble what we now know because the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Not likely.
