Google News - Yet another post announcer 18398
In Google's current battle towards becoming a global information middle, I've come to observe that the outcome sent from Google News may seem like nothing more than the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles articles index of some sorts?

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing articles, I often wonder when they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In-fact, they usually show up within 48 hours to be listed from other top related websites.
How can Google News select it's content?
At this time, it seems that 'news centers' & 'pr release organizations' related to your field o-nline are cashing in on these search results. If you think about it, wouldn't a press release be described as a form of information anyways? Possibly...
If you have a good look at the sites who produce the information within Google information, you'll notice that only a select few are offering all the results. Again, it is possible that Google's media protocol is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of constant battles to defeat.
It could be in Google's best interest to gather a staff of professionals in various areas to accept articles/news articles in order to keep the information source within the Google empire.

When you think about it, you are giving Google your email to get related articles to the key phrase brought to your inbox, so how exactly does this change from any other standard newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the news signals? Will they consider giving large the ability to corporations to market of their mail alerts as an onetime mailing! I am hoping not.
