Google News - Yet another article announcer 48941
In Google's recent fight towards becoming a worldwide news center, I have come to realize that the results delivered from Google News seems like only the articles we publish every day. So I ask, does not it appear to be Google News resembles articles index of some sorts?

I only mention this because when submitting my website marketing posts, I often wonder when they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In-fact, they usually show up within 4-8 hours to be listed from other top related internet sites.
How can Google News select it's content?
At the moment, it seems that 'news centers' & 'pr release companies' related to your field on the web are profiting from these research results. Once you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be considered a form of information anyways? Possibly...
You will notice that only a select few are offering all of the results, if you have a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google news. Again, it's possible that Google's news formula remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of uphill battles to conquer.
It may be in Google's best interest to put together a group of professionals in numerous areas to simply accept articles/news articles in order to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

You will also recognize a somewhat small part of actual search engine results developing, while searching through the GN area. More and more we are viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications on line that are starting to resemble what we now know because the good Yahoo Portal.
Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
