In Google's recent battle towards becoming a worldwide news center, I have come to realize that the results provided from Google News appears like nothing more than the articles we publish each and every day. So I ask, does not it appear to be Google News resembles an article index of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my website marketing posts, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! The truth is, they usually show up within 4-8 hours of being found from other top related websites.

How can Google News choose it's content?

Right now, it seems that 'media stores' & 'press release companies' linked to your area online are cashing in on these search results. If you think about it, would not a press release be described as a form of media anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the sites who provide the information within Google news, you will observe that only a select few are giving most of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's information protocol is still in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of uphill battles to conquer.

It could be in Google's best interest to gather a team of professionals in different fields to accept articles/news articles in order to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

There is Only A Fraction of Results Showing:

While searching through the GN part, you will also notice a comparatively small portion of actual search engine results developing. To compare additional info, consider glancing at: http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572. Just a fraction of the proportion of results get stated within the GN search results in comparison with the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main site.

Only the parts to the left produce actual real-time media. These are: Prime Reports|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Entertainment|Health. These links provide results shipped from legitimate news sources on line.

Google News Alerts - E-zine everyone?

When you contemplate it, you are giving your email to Google to get related articles to the search term brought to your inbox, how can this differ from any other normal newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within-the information alerts? Will they consider giving large the ability to organizations to advertise of their email alerts as an one-time mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some good effects). Since Google's IPO, the development group at GG are starting to launch programs on line that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Probably not.

One Great Position About Google News:

They have given the ability to you to customize your page to exhibit what-ever news subjects you need. Only look at the right side for a button that says 'Customize this site New'! .. When you select this link a drop down box shows you all of the major issues you've shown in your page. Just click o-n the topic you want to modify or eliminate. The most effective part of everything is that you can click on 'Put in a custom section' and only look for the topic you wish to have shown on your site.

In general you are able to create a complete custom news site (writer articles) that connect with your market..
