In Google's current challenge towards becoming an international media heart, I've come to observe that the outcome sent from Google News appears like only the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles a write-up listing of some forms?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing articles, I often wonder should they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! Actually, they usually show up within 4-8 hours to be found from other top related sites. To explore more, consider taking a view at: Burnaby Counselling Centre Launches Google Map Listing.

So how exactly does Google News select it's content?

Right now, it appears that 'media centers' & 'press release companies' related to your industry on line are profiting from these research results. Once you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be a kind of information anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the sites who provide the content within Google media, you will realize that only a select few are providing all the results. Again, it's possible that Google's media protocol remains in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of constant battles to conquer.

It may be in Google's best interest to put together a staff of professionals in various areas to simply accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

There is Merely A Portion of Benefits Showing:

While searching through the GN section, you'll also observe a somewhat small percentage of actual search results arising. Only a portion of the percentage of results get shown within the GN search results in comparison to the same results within the normal search results available on Google's main site.

Only the parts to the left offer actual real-time media. These are: Top Stories|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Activity|Health. These links provide results delivered from reliable information sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - Ezine everyone?

When you consider it, you're giving Google your current email address to get related articles to the key phrase delivered to your in-box, so how exactly does this change from every other normal publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the media signals? May they consider giving large the chance to firms to market within their mail alerts as an onetime mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research bar with some great effects). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch programs online that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal. Maybe there is any difference? Probably not.

One Good Place About Google News:

They have given the power to you to customize your site to show what-ever information topics you want. Just go through the right side for a button that says 'Customize this site New'! .. When you click on this link a drop-down box shows you most of the major topics you have listed in your page. Simply click on the topic you wish to customize or eliminate. The most effective part of it all is the fact that you can click on 'Add a custom part' and only search for the topic you want listed on your page.

All in all you can create a whole custom information page (author articles) that connect with your industry..
