In Google's recent battle towards becoming an international news middle, I have come to notice that the outcome delivered from Google News may seem like nothing more than the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles a write-up listing of some sorts?

I only mention this because when posting my online marketing posts, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! In reality, they usually appear within 48 hours to be listed from other top related web sites.
How can Google News choose it's content?
At the moment, it would appear that 'media centers' & 'pr release companies' related to your area online are profiting from these search results. When you think about it, would not a press release be a type of information anyways? Possibly...
