In Google's recent battle towards becoming a worldwide news center, I've come to notice that the outcomes provided from Google News seems like only the articles we publish daily. So I ask, doesn't it appear to be Google News resembles a write-up directory of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when posting my website marketing posts, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! Actually, they usually arrive within 4-8 hours of being listed from other top related websites.

So how exactly does Google News choose it is content?

At this time, it seems that 'news centers' & 'press release organizations' related to your area online are making the most of these research results. Learn more on the affiliated URL by browsing to http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572. When you think about it, wouldn't a press release be described as a type of media anyways? Possibly...

You will notice that only a select few are giving all of the results, if you take a good look at the websites who provide the information within Google media. Again, it's possible that Google's news algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of constant battles to conquer.

It might be in Google's best interest to gather a team of professionals in numerous fields to accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

There is Just A Portion of Effects Showing:

While searching through the GN section, you'll also notice a somewhat small part of actual search engine results developing. Only a portion of the percentage of results get shown within the GN search results in comparison with exactly the same results within the standard search results found on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left provide true real-time information. These are: Top Stories|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects shipped from reliable information sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anybody?

When you think about it, you are offering your email to Google to get related articles to the search phrase sent to your mailbox, how can this vary from any other normal publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the media signals? May they consider giving large the opportunity to companies to market of their e-mail alerts as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research bar with some good results). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch applications on the web that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Not likely.

One Good Level About Google News:

They have given the ability to you to customize your page showing whatever news issues you need. Just look at the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. After you click on this link a drop down box shows you all of the main topics you've shown in your page. Just click on the topic you want to modify or remove. The most effective part of all of it is that you can click on 'Put in a custom section' and simply look for this issue you want shown on your site.

In general it is possible to create a whole custom information page (writer articles) that relate to your business..
