In Google's current battle towards becoming a global information heart, I've come to observe that the outcome sent from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish everyday. So I ask, doesn't it seem like Google News resembles an article listing of some forms?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when distributing my online marketing posts, I often wonder should they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! Actually, they generally appear within 48 hours of being listed from other top related web sites.

So how exactly does Google News choose it's content?

Right now, it would appear that 'news stores' & 'press release organizations' related to your field online are cashing in on these search results. If people fancy to identify supplementary information about North Vancouver Counselling Centre Launches Google My Business Listing, there are millions of on-line databases people might consider investigating. If you consider it, wouldn't a press release be described as a kind of news anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the sites who deliver the information within Google media, you will observe that only a select few are giving every one of the results. Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?

When you consider it, you're offering Google your email address to get relevant articles to the search phrase sent to your in-box, so how exactly does this differ from any other normal newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the media signals? May they con-sider giving large organizations the opportunity to advertise inside their email alerts as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment group at GG are starting to launch programs online that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
