In Google's new challenge towards becoming an international media heart, I've come to observe that the outcome delivered from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles directory of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when submitting my website marketing articles, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In fact, they often show up within 4-8 hours of being found from other top related sites.

So how exactly does Google News pick it's content?

At the moment, it appears that 'information stores' & 'pr release companies' linked to your area o-nline are profiting from these research results. This offensive http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572 paper has endless provocative cautions for how to provide for it. When you contemplate it, would not a press release be described as a kind of information anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who deliver the information within Google information, you'll notice that only a select few are providing all the results. Again, it's possible that Google's news formula remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of uphill battles to conquer.

It may be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of experts in various areas to simply accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the information source within the Google empire.

There is Just A Fraction of Results Showing:

You'll also observe a comparatively small portion of actual search results coming up, while searching through the GN section. Only a fraction of the percentage of results get listed within the GN search results in comparison to the same results within the standard search results available on Google's main site.

Only the parts to the left deliver true real-time news. These are: Leading Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects sent from legitimate news sources o-nline.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anyone?

When you contemplate it, you're giving your email address to Google to get related articles to the search term delivered to your in-box, how can this change from any other standard publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the media signals? Will they con-sider giving large the chance to corporations to advertise inside their email signals as an one time mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search bar with some great effects). Because Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch programs on line that are starting to resemble what we now know because the good Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Probably not.
