* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing posts, I often wonder should they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In-fact, they often show up within 4-8 hours of being found from other top related sites.

So how exactly does Google News pick it is content?

At this time, it appears that 'news centers' & 'press release organizations' related to your area online are profiting from these research results. Whenever you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be considered a form of news anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who provide the content within Google information, you'll realize that only a select few are offering most of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's news algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to defeat. You'll also recognize a relatively small percentage of actual search results developing, while searching through the GN section. Only a portion of a proportion of results get stated within the GN search results in comparison to exactly the same results within the standard search results found on Google's main site.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you consider it, you're giving your current email address to Google to get relevant articles to the search term delivered to your inbox, how can this differ from any normal publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the news signals? Will they consider giving large the chance to firms to advertise within their e-mail signals as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are viewing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research bar with some great benefits). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch applications o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know because the good Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Probably not.
