In Google's new struggle towards becoming an international news heart, I have come to notice that the results sent from Google News appears like only the articles we publish every day. So I ask, doesn't it seem like Google News resembles articles index of some types?

I only mention this because when distributing my website marketing articles, I often wonder when they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! The truth is, they often arrive within 48 hours of being found from other top related sites.
How can Google News choose it's content?
At this time, it would appear that 'information stores' & 'press release companies' linked to your area on the web are profiting from these research results. If you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be a type of media anyways? Possibly...
You'll observe that only a select few are offering all the results, if you have a good look at the sites who deliver the information within Google information. Again, it is possible that Google's information formula is still in its infant stages and probably has a lot of uphill battles to beat.
