In Google's recent fight towards becoming a worldwide media middle, I have come to observe that the outcomes sent from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles an article index of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when posting my website marketing posts, I often wonder should they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! The truth is, they generally appear within 4-8 hours of being indexed from other top related web sites.

So how exactly does Google News choose it is content?

At the moment, it seems that 'media stores' & 'press release organizations' related to your area on line are making the most of these search results. If you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be described as a form of media anyways? Possibly...

You will notice that only a select few are giving every one of the results, if you take a good look at the sites who produce the material within Google news. Again, it is possible that Google's information algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to conquer.

It may be in Google's best interest to assemble a group of professionals in different fields to simply accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the information source within the Google kingdom. There is Just A Fraction of Benefits Showing:

While searching through the GN area, you'll also notice a comparatively small part of actual search results coming up. Just a fraction of a percentage of results get listed within the GN search results in comparison to exactly the same results within the regular search results found on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left produce actual real-time news. These are: Top Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide real-time results provided from credible news sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - Ezine everyone?

When you contemplate it, you are giving Google your current email address to get relevant articles to the search term sent to your mailbox, so how exactly does this vary from any other standard publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the information signals? Will they con-sider giving large firms the opportunity to market of their mail alerts as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are viewing less of the Google we once knew and attended to love (A research bar with some good benefits). Because Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Not likely.

One Great Position About Google News:

They have given the ability to you to customize your site to exhibit what-ever media subjects you need. Only go through the right side for a button that says 'Customize this site New'! .. Once you click this link a drop-down box shows you all of the major issues you have listed in your site. Just click o-n the topic you wish to customize or remove. The best part of all of it is the fact that you can click on 'Put in a custom section' and simply seek out this issue you want shown on your page.

All in all it is possible to create an entire custom information site (author articles) that connect with your market..
