In Google's new challenge towards becoming a worldwide news center, I have come to observe that the outcomes delivered from Google News appears like simply the articles we publish daily. So I ask, does not it appear to be Google News resembles an article index of some types?

Again, it's possible that Google's information algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of uphill battles to conquer.
It may be in Google's best interest to assemble a group of professionals in different fields to accept articles/news submissions so that you can keep the information source within the Google empire.
