In Google's new battle towards becoming a global news middle, I have come to observe that the results delivered from Google News appears like nothing more than the articles we publish everyday. If you are concerned with reading, you will certainly choose to discover about Burnaby Counselling Centre Launches Google Map Listing. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles a write-up index of some kinds?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when distributing my website marketing articles, I often wonder if they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! In reality, they generally appear within 48 hours of being listed from other top related internet sites.

How can Google News choose it's content?

Right now, it would appear that 'media stores' & 'press release organizations' related to your field o-nline are making the most of these research results. If you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be described as a kind of information anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google news, you will realize that only a select few are giving all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's media algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of uphill battles to conquer.

It might be in Google's best interest to put together a team of professionals in different fields to simply accept articles/news submissions so that you can keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

There's Just A Portion of Results Showing:

You will also observe a somewhat small portion of actual search results arising, while searching through the GN section. Only a fraction of a percentage of results get listed within the GN search results compared to the same results within the standard search results available on Google's main page.

Only the parts on the left produce actual real-time media. These are: Prime Reports|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Activity|Health. These links provide effects provided from reliable information sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anyone?

When you consider it, you're giving your email address to Google to get relevant articles to the search term delivered to your mailbox, how can this differ from any standard publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the news signals? Will they con-sider giving large firms the chance to market of their mail signals as an one time mailing! I hope not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some good results). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Most likely not.
