In Google's new fight towards becoming an international media middle, I've come to realize that the outcome delivered from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish every day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles a write-up service of some forms?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when submitting my internet marketing articles, I often wonder should they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In reality, they generally show up within 48 hours to be listed from other top related sites.

How does Google News pick it is content?

At this time, it seems that 'news facilities' & 'press release organizations' related to your industry on line are profiting from these search results. Once you consider it, wouldn't a press release be considered a kind of news anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the websites who produce the information within Google news, you will notice that only a select few are offering every one of the results. Again, it is possible that Google's media algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of constant battles to beat.

It could be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of professionals in numerous areas to accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

There's Just A Portion of Effects Showing:

You will also recognize a somewhat small part of actual search results arising, while searching through the GN section. Only a portion of the percentage of results get stated within the GN search results when compared with the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main site.

Only the parts to the left produce actual real-time media. These are: Top Reports|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects provided from legitimate information sources on line.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anybody?

When you contemplate it, you're giving your current email address to Google to get relevant articles to the key phrase sent to your email, how does this vary from every other standard newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the media alerts? May they consider giving large the ability to firms to advertise within their email signals as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some good effects). Since Google's IPO, the develop-ment group at GG are starting to launch programs on the web that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Not likely.
