In Google's current struggle towards becoming a global information center, I've come to realize that the results delivered from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles a write-up index of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when distributing my website marketing articles, I often wonder should they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! Actually, they often arrive within 48 hours of being found from other top related sites. We learned about http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572 by browsing Bing.

So how exactly does Google News pick it's content?

At the moment, it would appear that 'media centers' & 'press release organizations' associated with your field o-nline are cashing in on these research results. Whenever you think about it, would not a press release be described as a type of news anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the sites who deliver the material within Google news, you'll realize that only a select few are offering all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's information algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of constant battles to defeat.

It could be in Google's best interest to put together a team of professionals in different areas to accept articles/news articles in order to keep the information source within the Google empire.

There's Only A Portion of Benefits Showing:

You'll also recognize a relatively small percentage of actual search results developing, while searching through the GN area. Just a fraction of a proportion of results get outlined within the GN search results in comparison with the same results within the normal search results available on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left provide true real-time information. These are: Prime Reports|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Entertainment|Health. These links provide real-time effects delivered from legitimate news sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anybody?

When you contemplate it, you're offering your current email address to Google to get related articles to the search term sent to your inbox, so how exactly does this vary from any regular newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the news alerts? Will they con-sider giving large organizations the ability to promote inside their mail signals as an one-time mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research bar with some good effects). Because Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch applications on line that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.

One Good Point About Google News:

They've given you the ability to customize your page to show what-ever media issues you need. Just go through the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. Once you select this link a drop down box shows you all the major topics you've listed within your site. Simply click o-n the topic you want to modify or eliminate. My cousin learned about Burnaby Counselling Centre Launches Google Map Listing by searching Bing. The top part of all of it is that you can click on 'Put in a custom part' and only look for this issue you wish to have shown on your page.

All in all it is possible to create an entire custom information page (writer articles) that connect with your business..
