In Google's current challenge towards becoming a global media center, I've come to realize that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles listing of some forms?

I only mention this because when distributing my internet marketing articles, I often wonder if they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they do! The truth is, they usually appear within 48 hours of being found from other top related internet sites.
How does Google News choose it is content?
At the moment, it appears that 'media stores' & 'press release organizations' linked to your field online are cashing in on these research results. Whenever you consider it, would not a press release be described as a type of information anyways? Possibly...
If you have a good look at the websites who provide the information within Google news, you'll realize that only a select few are providing most of the results. Again, it is possible that Google's media protocol is still in its infant stages and probably includes a lot of uphill battles to overcome.
It could be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of professionals in numerous fields to simply accept articles/news articles in order to keep the news source within the Google empire.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?
When you contemplate it, you are giving Google your email address to get related articles to the key phrase delivered to your mailbox, how does this differ from every other regular newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the information signals? Will they consider giving large firms the ability to advertise inside their email alerts as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.
More and more we are viewing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research club with some good results). Because Google's IPO, the development group at GG are starting to launch applications o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know while the good Yahoo Portal.
Will there be any difference? Most likely not.
