In Google's current struggle towards becoming an international news center, I've come to notice that the results provided from Google News seems like only the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles articles listing of some forms?

I only mention this because when publishing my internet marketing articles, I often wonder if they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they do! In fact, they often show up within 4-8 hours of being listed from other top related internet sites.
How can Google News choose it's content?
At this time, it appears that 'media facilities' & 'pr release organizations' associated with your industry o-nline are cashing in on these search results. If you consider it, wouldn't a press release be described as a type of media anyways? Possibly...
You will realize that only a select few are offering all of the results, if you have a good look at the websites who produce the content within Google media. Again, it is possible that Google's news algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of constant battles to defeat.
It might be in Google's best interest to gather a team of experts in different areas to accept articles/news articles so that you can keep the news source within the Google kingdom.
