In Google's new fight towards becoming a worldwide information center, I've come to notice that the outcome sent from Google News appears like simply the articles we publish each and every day. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles a write-up listing of some forms?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when distributing my website marketing posts, I often wonder when they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! Actually, they often show up within 4-8 hours of being listed from other top related websites.

How can Google News choose it is content?

At this time, it appears that 'information centers' & 'press release organizations' linked to your field online are profiting from these search results. Whenever you think about it, wouldn't a press release be described as a type of information anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the sites who provide the content within Google media, you will realize that only a select few are providing most of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's news protocol is still in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of uphill battles to conquer.

It may be in Google's best interest to assemble a group of experts in various areas to just accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the news source within the Google empire.

There's Merely A Fraction of Effects Showing:

While searching through the GN area, you'll also recognize a somewhat small part of actual search results coming up. Only a fraction of the percentage of results get shown within the GN search results when compared with exactly the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main page.

Only the sections to the left offer actual real-time news. These are: Prime Reports|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects sent from legitimate news sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - Ezine everyone?

When you contemplate it, you are giving your email to Google to get related articles to the search term brought to your mailbox, how does this vary from any normal publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the news signals? May they con-sider giving large the ability to corporations to advertise inside their email alerts as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some great effects). Because Google's IPO, the development group at GG are starting to launch programs o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know as the good Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Not likely.
