In Google's new fight towards becoming an international news heart, I have come to observe that the results provided from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish everyday. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles a write-up listing of some sorts?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when submitting my online marketing articles, I often wonder if they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! Actually, they generally arrive within 48 hours of being found from other top related internet sites.

So how exactly does Google News choose it is content?

At this time, it seems that 'media stores' & 'press release companies' linked to your industry o-nline are cashing in on these research results. When you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be described as a form of media anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who provide the content within Google information, you will realize that only a select few are giving all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's information formula remains in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of uphill battles to overcome.

It may be in Google's best interest to put together a staff of experts in numerous fields to simply accept articles/news articles so that you can keep the news source within the Google empire.

There is Just A Fraction of Results Showing:

You will also discover a relatively small percentage of actual search results arising, while searching through the GN area. Just a fraction of the percentage of results get outlined within the GN search results compared to the same results within the standard search results available on Google's main page.

Only the parts to the left provide actual real-time media. These are: Prime Experiences|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide results sent from credible news sources on line.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?

When you think about it, you're giving Google your email to get relevant articles to the search term brought to your mailbox, so how exactly does this differ from any other standard newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the media alerts? May they consider giving large organizations the opportunity to market within their email alerts as an onetime mailing! I hope not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some good results). Since Google's IPO, the develop-ment team at GG are starting to launch applications on line that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Probably not.
