In Google's new battle towards becoming a worldwide media heart, I have come to realize that the results provided from Google News appears like simply the articles we publish every-day. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles articles listing of some kinds?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing articles, I often wonder when they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! In-fact, they usually appear within 48 hours to be found from other top related websites.

How can Google News select it's content?

At this time, it appears that 'media centers' & 'pr release companies' associated with your industry online are cashing in on these research results. If you contemplate it, would not a press release be described as a kind of information anyways? Possibly...

You'll notice that only a select few are providing most of the results, if you have a good look at the sites who provide the information within Google information. Again, it's possible that Google's news protocol remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of constant battles to defeat.

It could be in Google's best interest to put together a team of professionals in different areas to just accept articles/news articles so that you can keep the news source within the Google kingdom.

There's Just A Portion of Results Showing:

While searching through the GN area, you'll also observe a somewhat small portion of actual search engine results arising. Only a portion of a percentage of results get shown within the GN search results when compared with exactly the same results within the normal search results available on Google's main page.

Only the sections to the left deliver true real-time media. These are: Prime Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide real-time results shipped from reliable information sources online.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you consider it, you're offering your email address to Google to get relevant articles to the search phrase delivered to your inbox, how does this differ from any other normal newsletter? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within-the information signals? May they consider giving large the opportunity to firms to market inside their mail signals as an onetime mailing! I hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some good effects). Because Google's IPO, the devel-opment team at GG are starting to launch applications online that are starting to resemble what we now know because the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
