In Google's recent struggle towards becoming a global media heart, I have come to observe that the results sent from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish each and every day. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles articles directory of some sorts?

When you consider it, you're giving your email to Google to get related articles to the search term delivered to your mailbox, how does this vary from any other normal publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the information alerts? Will they con-sider giving large firms the chance to advertise within their e-mail signals as an one time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're viewing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A research club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the development group at GG are starting to launch applications online that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.
