In Google's new battle towards becoming a worldwide media heart, I have come to notice that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish every day. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles an article directory of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my internet marketing articles, I often wonder when they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! Actually, they often show up within 4-8 hours to be listed from other top related sites.

So how exactly does Google News pick it's content?

Right now, it appears that 'media stores' & 'pr release companies' related to your area on line are profiting from these research results. This fresh Burnaby Counselling Centre Launches Google Map Listing website has a pile of offensive suggestions for how to look at it. If you think about it, would not a press release be considered a kind of news anyways? Possibly...

If you take a good look at the websites who deliver the information within Google news, you will realize that only a select few are providing all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's information algorithm is still in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of constant battles to defeat.

It might be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of experts in various fields to simply accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

There is Just A Fraction of Results Showing:

You'll also observe a relatively small part of actual search results arising, while searching through the GN section. Only a fraction of the proportion of results get stated within the GN search results when compared with exactly the same results within the standard search results available on Google's main site.

Only the sections to the left provide true real-time information. These are: Prime Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Activity|Health. These links provide effects sent from reliable news sources o-nline.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you think about it, you're offering your email address to Google to get related articles to the key phrase delivered to your inbox, so how exactly does this vary from any regular publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within-the information alerts? Will they con-sider giving large organizations the ability to advertise within their mail signals as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search club with some good benefits). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch programs on line that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Will there be any difference? Most likely not.

One Good Position About Google News:

They've given the ability to you to customize your page showing what-ever news topics you need. Simply look at the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. Once you select this link a drop down box shows you all the major issues you've stated within your site. Simply click on the subject you intend to modify or eliminate. The best part of everything is the fact that you can click on 'Put in a custom part' and only search for the subject you need listed on your page.

In general it is possible to create a complete custom news site (writer articles) that relate to your market..
