In Google's new fight towards becoming a global information center, I have come to observe that the results provided from Google News may seem like only the articles we publish every day. To research more, please check out: North Vancouver Counselling Centre Launches Google My Business Listing. So I ask, doesn't it look like Google News resembles an article directory of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my internet marketing posts, I often wonder should they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they do! In reality, they generally show up within 48 hours of being found from other top related internet sites.

So how exactly does Google News pick it's content?

At this time, it appears that 'news facilities' & 'press release companies' associated with your industry o-nline are profiting from these research results. Once you think about it, would not a press release be considered a kind of media anyways? Possibly...

You will notice that only a select few are offering most of the results, if you take a good look at the sites who produce the content within Google media. Again, it's possible that Google's information protocol remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of uphill battles to beat.

It might be in Google's best interest to put together a team of experts in numerous fields to accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the information source within the Google empire.

There is Merely A Fraction of Benefits Showing:

You'll also discover a comparatively small portion of actual search results coming up, while searching through the GN area. Just a portion of a percentage of results get shown within the GN search results in comparison with exactly the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main page.

Only the parts to the left produce true real-time media. These are: Prime Stories|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Activities|Entertainment|Health. These links provide effects sent from legitimate information sources on the web.

Google News Alerts - E-zine everyone?

When you think about it, you're offering your email address to Google to get relevant articles to the key phrase brought to your mailbox, so how exactly does this change from any other regular publication? Are we going to start seeing Google Adwords within the news alerts? May they con-sider giving large organizations the opportunity to promote inside their mail signals as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research club with some great benefits). Since Google's IPO, the devel-opment group at GG are starting to launch applications on the web that are starting to resemble what we now know as the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.

One Good Level About Google News:

They've given the ability to you to customize your site showing what-ever news issues you need. Just go through the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. When you click this link a drop-down box shows you all of the main topics you have shown within your site. Simply click o-n the topic you wish to modify or remove. The very best part of it all is the fact that you can click on 'Put in a custom section' and only look for the subject you need listed on your site.

In general you are able to create an entire custom news page (writer articles) that connect with your market..
