Google News - Just another article announcer 40936
In Google's current struggle towards becoming a global news middle, I have come to notice that the results provided from Google News may seem like nothing more than the articles we publish every day. So I ask, doesn't it appear to be Google News resembles an article listing of some forms?

I only mention this because when publishing my online marketing articles, I often wonder if they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In-fact, they generally show up within 4-8 hours to be indexed from other top related sites.
How does Google News pick it's content?
Right now, it appears that 'information centers' & 'pr release companies' associated with your area online are profiting from these search results. Whenever you contemplate it, would not a press release be considered a kind of information anyways? Possibly...
If you take a good look at the sites who provide the material within Google information, you'll realize that only a select few are offering all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's media algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably has a lot of constant battles to conquer.

When you consider it, you are giving your email address to Google to get relevant articles to the search term brought to your inbox, so how exactly does this differ from any standard publication? I hope not.
More and more we are seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A search bar with some good results). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch applications online that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.
