In Google's recent fight towards becoming a worldwide news heart, I have come to realize that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish daily. So I ask, does not it appear to be Google News resembles an article index of some forms?

I only mention this because when distributing my website marketing posts, I often wonder should they appear within Google News? 9 times out of 10, they are doing! The truth is, they usually appear within 48 hours of being listed from other top related internet sites.
How does Google News choose it is content?
At this time, it appears that 'news facilities' & 'press release organizations' related to your area on line are cashing in on these research results. Whenever you think about it, wouldn't a press release be considered a kind of information anyways? Possibly...
You will notice that only a select few are giving every one of the results, if you have a good look at the websites who deliver the information within Google media. Again, it is possible that Google's news protocol remains in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of uphill battles to overcome.
It could be in Google's best interest to assemble a team of professionals in different areas to accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the news source within the Google kingdom.
