In Google's new challenge towards becoming an international news middle, I've come to notice that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish everyday. So I ask, does not it seem like Google News resembles a write-up service of some types?

I only mention this because when submitting my website marketing posts, I often wonder should they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! Actually, they often appear within 4-8 hours of being found from other top related websites.
So how exactly does Google News select it's content?
At this time, it seems that 'media stores' & 'press release companies' linked to your industry on line are making the most of these search results. Once you think about it, wouldn't a press release be a kind of information anyways? Possibly...
You'll realize that only a select few are providing all the results, if you take a good look at the websites who deliver the material within Google information. Again, it is possible that Google's information formula remains in its infant stages and probably has a large amount of constant battles to conquer.
It may be in Google's best interest to gather a group of experts in various areas to just accept articles/news submissions in order to keep the information source within the Google kingdom.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anybody?
When you consider it, you're offering your email address to Google to get relevant articles to the search phrase sent to your mailbox, so how exactly does this differ from every other standard publication?
