Favre played his senior school ball at Hancock North Central. Although h-e played several sports, his first love was the game of soccer. His father was his coach in high school, and ironically enough Favre rarely threw the ball a lot more than five times in any given game. This is due to the fact that his dad liked to perform the ball out-of a formation.

After high school because they were the sole university to supply him a grant Favre chose to take his game to Southern Mississippi. Favre persuaded them to give him a take to at quarterback, even though coaching staff wanted him to play on-the defensive side of the ball. Despite beginning the season as the seventh sequence quarterback, he took over whilst the beginning in the next half of the 3rd game of his freshman season. The rest is history as Favre dazzled the college football world for the rest of his time in the school.

In the 1991 NFL Draft the Atlanta Falcons picked Favre early in the next round. Favre only played one season with the Falcons, and was then traded to the Green Bay Packers through the off season.

Favre has had a great job with the Packers, and remains at it even today. In 1-6 times in the NFL he has passed for 414 touchdowns and 57,500 yards. These numbers are the best that the group has ever seen, and probably will be for some time now..
