In Google's new challenge towards becoming an international information middle, I have come to notice that the outcome delivered from Google News appears like simply the articles we publish every day. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles an article listing of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when submitting my website marketing posts, I often wonder when they show up within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they are doing! In fact, they usually arrive within 48 hours of being found from other top related websites.

How does Google News choose it is content?

Right now, it appears that 'information centers' & 'press release organizations' related to your area on the web are profiting from these research results. When you contemplate it, wouldn't a press release be considered a form of news anyways? Possibly...

If you have a good look at the websites who deliver the content within Google information, you will observe that only a select few are offering all of the results. Again, it's possible that Google's information algorithm remains in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to overcome.

It may be in Google's best interest to gather a team of experts in numerous areas to simply accept articles/news submissions to be able to keep the information source within the Google empire.

There is Only A Portion of Benefits Showing:

While searching through the GN area, you will also discover a comparatively small percentage of actual search engine results developing. Only a portion of a proportion of results get outlined within the GN search results in comparison with exactly the same results within the normal search results found on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left deliver actual real-time media. These are: Prime Experiences|World|Business|Sci/Tech|Sports|Activity|Health. These links provide effects shipped from legitimate news sources online.

Google News Alerts - E-zine anybody?

When you contemplate it, you are offering Google your email address to get related articles to the key phrase delivered to your inbox, how does this differ from any normal publication? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within the information alerts? Will they consider giving large the ability to companies to promote inside their email alerts as an one-time mailing! I am hoping not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and came to love (A research club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the development team at GG are starting to launch applications online that are starting to resemble what we now know while the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Probably not.
