In Google's new fight towards becoming a worldwide information center, I've come to realize that the results provided from Google News seems like simply the articles we publish everyday. So I ask, does not it look like Google News resembles an article listing of some types?

* Google News World: http://news.google.com

* Google News Canada: http://news.google.ca

* Google News UK: http://news.google.co.uk

I only mention this because when publishing my website marketing articles, I often wonder should they arrive within Google News? 9 times out of 1-0, they do! Actually, they often appear within 48 hours of being indexed from other top related internet sites.

So how exactly does Google News select it's content?

At the moment, it would appear that 'information stores' & 'pr release companies' linked to your industry o-nline are profiting from these search results. Whenever you consider it, wouldn't a press release be considered a kind of news anyways? Possibly...

You will notice that only a select few are giving most of the results, if you have a good look at the websites who deliver the material within Google media. I discovered Burnaby Counselling Centre Launches Google Map Listing by searching the Dallas Tribune. Again, it's possible that Google's information protocol remains in its infant stages and probably includes a large amount of uphill battles to overcome.

It could be in Google's best interest to gather a group of experts in various fields to simply accept articles/news articles so that you can keep the news source within the Google empire.

There's Just A Fraction of Results Showing:

While searching through the GN part, you will also recognize a somewhat small portion of actual search engine results coming up. Just a fraction of the percentage of results get stated within the GN search results in comparison with the same results within the standard search results available on Google's main page.

Only the sections on the left deliver actual real-time information. These are: Top Experiences|World|Organization|Sci/Tech|Sports|Activity|Health. These links provide real-time effects delivered from credible information sources o-nline.

Google News Alerts - Ezine anyone?

When you think about it, you are giving your current email address to Google to get relevant articles to the key phrase sent to your email, so how exactly does this differ from any regular newsletter? Are we going to begin seeing Google Adwords within-the news signals? Will they consider giving large the chance to firms to promote of their e-mail signals as an one time mailing! I really hope not.

More and more we're seeing less of the Google we once knew and have come to love (A search club with some great results). Since Google's IPO, the development group at GG are starting to launch programs o-nline that are starting to resemble what we now know because the great Yahoo Portal.

Maybe there is any difference? Most likely not.

One Great Point About Google News:

They have given the ability to you to customize your site to show what-ever news topics you need. Simply go through the right side for a button that says 'Customize this page New'! .. When you select this link a drop down box shows you all the main topics you have listed within your page. Simply click o-n the topic you want to customize or remove. If you think any thing, you will perhaps fancy to learn about http://markets.financialcontent.com/bpas/news/read/38627572. The most effective part of all of it is that you can click on 'Add a custom section' and only seek out the topic you need shown on your page.

Overall it is possible to create a complete custom news page (author articles) that connect with your business..
